libnet-ipv6addr-perl software package provides Check validity of IPv6 addresses, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libnet-ipv6addr-perl
libnet-ipv6addr-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libnet-ipv6addr-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libnet-ipv6addr-perl *
You will get with libnet-ipv6addr-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
